Chart-topping, innovative mash-up artists The Piano Guys are touring to promote their most recent album, Limitless, bringing their unique, genre-defying renditions of popular tunes to Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie on Saturday 27th April 2019! The group had this to say about their new album:
"As we go through life's cycles, sometimes we face the sun and sometimes we face stars that stretch on forever. We may extend our reach so far away from us at times that we forget we only need to look within to rediscover who we actually are and soar. We are limitless. We hope that's the way this music makes you feel." – The Piano Guys
Formed in 2010, in St. George, Utah, by pianist Jon Schmidt, cellist Steven Sharp Nelson, videographer Paul Anderson, and music producer Al van der Beek, The Piano Guys is an American musical group. Originally formed as a social media strategy for Anderson's piano store of the same name, The Piano Guys gained public attention via YouTube, where they began uploading professional-quality videos of piano and cello covers and compositions, blending classical, contemporary, and rock and roll music. The group has released eight studio albums to date, including a Christmas album, and their first six releases (The Piano Guys, The Piano Guys 2, A Family Christmas, Wonders, Uncharted, and Christmas Together) all reached number one on the Billboard Classical Albums and New Age Albums charts. Their latest album is 2018's Limitless.
