October London & Tamar Braxton at Texas Trust CU Theatre

On Friday May 9th, October London, Tamar Braxton, and Ro James will be taking over the Texas Trust CU in Grand Prairie for an eclectic night of R&B sounds on their October Nights: Calling All Lovers Tour. With twenty four shows planned for all across America, this tour will take the trio from New York to Washington to Chicago, and of course - right at home in Grand Prairie.

October London is an R&B Singer and Songwriter signed to Death Row Records and the mastermind behind the October Nights tour - which is named after his latest album that was released in October 2024. October has humble beginnings - he was born in South Bend, Indiana, and constantly mentions how his family’s musical history (his mom a singer and his dad a guitar player) is what always brought them all together, and what inspired him to pursue his own career goals - first as a pianist, and then into singing. That led to him releasing the politically charged Black Man in America single in late 2015, and getting signed to Snoop Dogg’s Cadillac Records six months later. Since then, London has been on a dominating run - releasing hit EPs and singles year over year, including songs like Back To Your Place, and has made appearances on shows like Empire and The Soul Train Music Awards. He has toured with Wiz Khalifa and Snoop, and produced music for TV shows and Martha Stewart. The only question now is - what’s next for Mr.London? 

Tamar Braxton is no stranger to the radio, the charts, our TV screens, and the hearts of Black Americans. Since she came on the scene in the early 90s, she has dominated the airwaves and popular culture. She has made mega hit singles like Love and War and Let Me Know (Ft. Future), and has appeared on Dancing With the Stars, Baddies ATL, Basketball Wives, and RuPaul’s Drag Race. She has toured all over the world with the greats - including R&B Legends like John Legend, Mary J. Blige, and Keith Sweat, 

Ro James isn’t new to the game, but feels like R&B's best kept secret. You’ve probably heard his hit 2015 single Permission on the airwaves before, and his 2016 album Eldorado too. He has scored platinum records and Grammy nominations with the above and recently put out his first song in over 4 years - Platonic. Now, with the 2025 October Nights Tour, there’s no telling what he might put out next.
