“My mom doesn’t have a voice right now,” he told the crowd at the S.F. stop of the tour, quotes via San Francisco Chronicle. “That’s the thing (the Koy family) is going through right now. So it makes me happy that I have all these specials out there, representing my mom.”

Largely crediting his career of comedy and acting to his mother, he shared that she encouraged him to try out school talent shows and perform impromptu acts for his family & friends. From performances at a Vegas coffee house, he takes this same principle to jam-packed arenas around the world.

Known to engage with the crowd and have some impromptu fun, “This is the one right here," he said."It’s fun hammering these things out and these ideas out. I love the direction that we’re going on this one,” he tells WMAR 2 News.
