Tejano trailblazers Intocable have announced a huge milestone trek that includes a stop in Grand Prairie, Texas. The Mexican size piece are hitting the road and celebrating 30 incredible years since they entered the scene. Intocable will be making their way to the legendary Texas Trust CU Theatre on Saturday 16th November 2024. The anniversary tour comes on the heels of their latest opus, Modus Operandi. The accordion-driven, 16-track album is so catchy that its single, “Ojalá Estuvieras Aquí” shot straight to the coveted number one spot on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart. “Having our 19th song hit No. 1 is unbelievable,” Ricardo Muñoz said. “It’s a huge honor, and we feel lucky and humbled. ‘Ojalá Estuvieras Aquí’ is a song that holds a special place in our hearts, and we are thrilled to see it connect with audiences in such a meaningful way.” And what better way to celebrate Intocable’s latest success and 30 year milestone than a live concert? This cowboy-hat donning six piece has become synonymous with the trailblazing spirit of Tejano music. The group is made up of the ingeniously talented Ricardo Muñoz (Lead Vocalist, Accordion), René Orlando Martinez (Drums, Chorus), Sergio Serna (Percussion), Johnny Lee Rosas (Bajo Sexto, Backup Vocalist), Alejandro Gulmar (Bajo Sexto), and Felix Salinas (Bass). After 3 decades of creating amazing music, this tight knit group of friends is treating fans with their latest accordion-driven, 16-track album, Modus Operandi. Produced by the legendary Don Was (hello Bob Dylan, Iggy Pop, Elton John, and Ringo Starr), Modus Operandi bridges the gap between the past and future of Tejano music. Released on February 9, this opus has disrupted the music scene from the get go. Intocable returned to the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart with the album’s single, “Ojalá Estuvieras Aquí” in March. The song took the Greatest Gainer award on Regional Mexican Airplay, a weekly honor for the track with the largest increase in audience impressions. Now, that’s impressive.

Not only has Intocable won over audiences with a ton of Mexicana singles but also incredible albums. With eight albums reaching the coveted No. 1 place on the Top Latin Albums chart — including 2002’s Sueños, 2003’s La Historia, and 2016’s Highway — and a number of other Billboard accolades, the band’s journey from the small town of Zapata in Texas to full blown international fame shows just how great their music is.
