The Baddest Show On Earth

For over 50 years George Thorogood and the destroyers have been delivering some of the most electrifying blues-rock on the planet. With their signature raw energy, gritty guitar riffs and undeniable swagger, they have cemented themselves as legends in the genre. If you love head banging, foot stomping rock ‘n’ roll then this is a show you definitely cannot afford to miss out on.

George Thorogood grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, soaking in the blues greatest hits from artists like Elmore James, Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker. Inspired by these legends he picked up a guitar and started developing his signature slide-style guitar, which is sharp, aggressive and full of attitude! By the early 70s he had put together the Destroyers and they hit the road, playing anywhere and everywhere that would let them perform.

Their 1977 self-titled debut album introduced the world to their no-frills, high-energy sound. But it was their 1982, “Bad to the Bone” that turned them into rock icons. That instantly recognisable riff, Thorogood’s snarling vocals, and the songs rebellious spirit made it the anthem that still rips through thousands of speakers today.

Over the years George Thorogood and the Destroyers have built one of the most relentless touring schedules in music history, earning them a reputation as one of the hardest working bands in the rock genre. They have shared the stage with legends like the Rolling stones and AC/DC, played thousands of sold-out shows, and they have released a stack of albums packed with hits like “Move it on Over”, “I Drink Alone” and “Who Do you Love?”

Even after five decades they still bring the fire to stage. Every show is a high energy, beer raising, riff driven party that only has one rule! To have a damn good time! So, if you are ready for a night of loud and unapologetic rock ‘n’ roll then grab your tickets by hitting that “Buy Tickets Now” button. George Thorogood and the destroyers are rolling through, and they are still bad to the bone!
