Texas Trust CU Theatre at Grand Prairie
The woman they call the Queen of Rock Soul is going to be making a very special stop in Grand Prairie, Texas, on Friday, December 6th. She'll be live at the Texas Trust CU Theater on this date. It's wild to think that she's nominated for a Grammy again this year, and she hasn't put out a full album for a while! Her single Summertime with Adam Blackstone got a nod for best jazz performance. Don't look now, but Fantasia did an amazing job with that old-school jazzy track. Those tunes could be heavily used in her upcoming show at Texas Trust CU Theatre at Grand Prairie.
Avery Sunshine's gonna be opening the night. She's got some upbeat soul in her veins that bleeds through in every one of her tracks. That's certainly going to help set the tone for the night! She might sit at the piano and play a few songs with Fantasia on the mic. The duo will have you singing and dancing all night.
The truth is that no matter what she's singing, Fantasia has proven to be an incredible performer. She's not necessarily on tour, and raising three kids takes a lot of time. Who knows when or if she'll be back in North Texas soon? It's better to hit the get tickets button now to make sure you don't miss this show.
It's such a treat to watch such powerful performers like Fantasia at a stage in their careers when they're truly fully established. This upcoming show in Grand Prairie is the perfect example. Fantasia is not on a large tour, nor is she promoting new music. Fans already know what she's all about, so if you're heading to the show on Friday, December 6th, it's to enjoy the night. From the stage, you'll likely feel that same vibe. Since she's not actively promoting songs from a new album apart from her single Summertime, it's a chance for her to take the show wherever she wants. As a fan, the best thing you can do is be okay with being along for the ride.
Maybe she's in the mood to sing a few songs that bring back memories from her American Idol days. It's early December, so why not throw in some holiday songs for good measure? These are all speculations, of course! This is not a suggestion that the show is going to be holiday-themed whatsoever. In fact, at least at the time of writing, there have been no clear indications that Fantasia is playing a holiday-themed night. With the vocal range that she's got, Fantasia can take this night in any direction. This Friday night show will be a celebration of music with one of the most powerful voices in the industry. She's the real American Idol, after all!
