The franchise’s official music orchestra the Distant World are bringing you the game’s cinematic scores. On December 6th, you’ll witness Distant Worlds: The Music From Final Fantasy music, live, in its full glory, at the Texas Trust CU Theatre at Grand Prairie.
Led by the music director Arnie Roth, Distant World provides an incredible live experience for fans of Square Enix’s flagship game series as well as those who enjoy epic and cinematic symphonies. Music includes those composed by Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu, Naoshi Mizuta, Hitoshi Sakimoto, and Kumi Tanioka, as well as music from the spin-off series.
Everyone knows that Final Fantasy has the full package when it comes to games. It has incredible visuals, great gameplay, relatable characters, and music that immerses you in the Final Fantasy world.
The game’s official touring orchestra, the Distant Worlds: The Music From Final Fantasy, is coming to Texas Trust CU Theatre at Grand Prairie on December 6th, to celebrate the game’s music and the composers who wrote the most epic songs.
Final Fantasy is a game series by Square Enix, an RPG role-playing game. The first game of the series was released in Japan in 1986, and later in America in 1990. Since then, the series has grown into a major franchise with over a dozen releases, making it one of the most played RPG games of all time. The success of the franchise made Final Fantasy the flagship game for Square Enix. Music wise, the Final Fantasy games have a vast variety of music, each becoming more complicated with each release such as the opening score “Prelude.” The game’s primary music composer was Nobuo Uematsu until his resignation in 2004. Since then, the franchise has worked with many notable composers such as Masashi Hamauzu, Hitoshi Sakimoto, and Yoko Shimomura.
Presented by AWR Music Productions, Distant Worlds: music from Final Fantasy is the official live orchestra music experience for world renowned RPG game Final Fantasy. The concert highlights the game’s iconic music composed by some of the top names in the industry, such as Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu, Naoshi Mizuta, Hitoshi Sakimoto, Yoko Shimomura, Masayoshi Soken and many others. Directed by Maestro Arnie Roth, the multimedia symphonic concert provides an unforgettable experience with orchestra, choir and soloists. Since the first tour back in 2007, in Sweden, the Distant Worlds have toured globally with sold-out shows. The achievements of the symphony have been key to showcasing Final Fantasy’s cinematic music in its entirety.
