Over the years, he’s had people in stitches over his stand up comedy shows, impressed viewers as the second longest-serving cast member in Fox's sketch comedy series MADtv (appearing in a whopping 198 episodes!!), and made his mark on Hollywood with huge movie roles, including Home of Angels (1994), The Pest (1997), Jerry Maguire (1996), Out-of-Sync (1995), and The Proud Family (2003). If you didn’t already know, Aries Spears is an African-American stand-up comedian, and actor hailing from New Jersey. Aries Spears is the kind of entertainment powerhouse that hit the big time from the get-go. This high-energy comedic actor was not only a regular of a number of series, but also landed huge movie roles before the age of twenty-five. Now, that’s impressive! In fact, Aries Spears started making audiences laugh at just fourteen years old, and has been winning over the hearts of millions ever since.

Aries Spears burst onto the scene in the nineties with his first TV appearance on Russell Simmons's Def Comedy Jam. He was such a hit with audiences that he then starred on It's Showtime at the Apollo. After the comedy legend moved to LA in 1992, he became a regular on A Different World (1993), as well as a mainstay on stages such as The Comedy Store, The Improv and The Laugh Factory. What’s more, Aries Spears was also a favorite in Fox's sketch comedy series MADtv, appearing in a whopping 198 episodes, making him the second longest-serving cast member on the program behind Michael McDonald. Other television roles include Crosstown Traffic, The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. and Soul Train. Meanwhile, he also starred on the big screen, with movie appearances including the likes of Home of Angels (1994), The Pest (1997), Jerry Maguire (1996), Out-of-Sync (1995), and The Proud Family (2003). Fast forward to 2011 and he dropped a special called Aries Spears: Hollywood, Look I'm Smiling. Aries Spears has even had the honor of co-hosting the AVN Awards twice in 2018 and 2020.

And now, back by popular demand, the one and only Aries Spears is returning to the road for a highly anticipated trek. The Aries Spears tour kicked off in Pittsburgh, PA on June 7 for a 3 day extravaganza, making its way to Texas Trust CU Theatre on November 29, before wrapping up on December 15 at Cary, Nc.
