Texas Trust CU Theatre at Grand Prairie
The Dallas Blues Festival is turning 20 this year! To celebrate such an occasion, the usual suspects who are part of the Blues is Alright Tour will be taking the stage of the Texas Trust CU Theater in Grand Prairie. Tuka, King George, Pokey Bear, and the rest of the crew will hit the crowd with some smooth blues lines and vocals to match. The show's going to be taking place on Saturday, March 1st. It could be a great excuse to bring in the Spring.
Before you know it, you're going to get up off your seat just vibing to those jazzy tunes. Very few shows have this ability to put the crowd in almost a trance. Those moments of silence that you get with a good jazz and blues night are filled with anticipation for the next big beat from the saxophone or another instrument from the band. If you're looking to recharge with some good vibes, hit that get tickets button and head to the Texas Trust CU Theatre on March 1st.
If you're into the blues, you know that a show at any old bar, particularly in a town like Dallas, can make for an amazing night. That's with mostly amateur performers and a lot of times not the greatest acoustics in some of these venues. Think about that vibe and then multiply it by 100 or so, and that's what you get with this Dallas Blues Festival from Blues is Alright. As mentioned, Tuka, King George, Pokey Bear, West Love, and Ronnie Bell are just some of the names that will be taking the stage come Saturday, March 1st. These are some of the top performers in jazz and blues today. That's why they're part of arguably the best jazz show that you're going to be able to experience anywhere in the country.
Another interesting element is that most of these performers are regulars on the Blues is Alright tour. That means that they've got the timing of the show down perfectly. By the time these talented musicians hit Dallas, they'll have played events all over the place. These previous stops allow them to refine the set list and understand the different vibes that they're putting out there on the crowd. This entire experience promises to flow smoothly to the point where, by the first couple of songs, you'll already be in that festive mood that you're hoping to get out of Blues Night. There's a reason why this event has been hitting Big D for 20 years! The people here in the metroplex area love their blues!
Where might the best spot inside the Texas Trust CU Theater be for this night? The pit area is going to be made available so that you can be up close to the performers. From here, you might be able to treat the show just like a blues night at your local bar. The main difference, though, will be the quality of performers gracing the stage. Further back into the theater, you'll be able to just chill out and have a great time, if that's part of what you want to do on March 1st hit that get tickets button now.
